What are your Public Skating admission prices?
$5.00 per person for ages 5 - 61. $3 for children 4 & under and for seniors 62 and over

Provide recreational skating and ice related activities to the public and various user groups.

What is the cost for Adult Open Hockey?
$7.00 per person. Goalies are free! This is for all adults 18 and older. Helmets are required.

How old do you have to be to participate in Adult Open Hockey?
Must be 18 years of age.

What equipment is required to play Adult Open Hockey?
The Burnsville Ice Center only requires helmets.
9.
Do you have Rental Skates available?
Yes, we carry whole sizes of skates. No half sizes.

What is the cost of Rental Skates?
Both figure and hockey skates are available for $5 per pair.

When are Learn to Skate Lessons offered?
We offer Learn Skate lessons year round. Please click on the Learn To Skate tab for more details or call the Skating School Coordinator at 952-895-4657.

When is your Annual Ice Skating Show?
The Impressions on Ice Show is now generally held in the middle of May on a Friday and Saturday evening. Show time is at 7:00pm. Please call the main office for more information at 952-895-4651.

When do Ice Show tickets go on sale and how much are they?
Ice Show tickets go on typically 2 weeks prior to the performances. Prices are $5 for students (5-17) and seniors (62 +), $10 for adults, $25 for a 3-show pass (includes Dress Rehearsal on Thursday).

General Information about Clubs and How to ask for them.
The Burnsville Hockey Club and the Burnsville Minnesota Valley Figure Skating Club are volunteer organizations that use our facility as their address; however they do not have any staff located at our phone number to answers questions. Their volunteers change from year to year, so when calling for the respective Clubs please ask Ice Center staff for a Club representative that you can contact.

What should be worn to skating lessons?
Skaters should be warm & and comfortable so dress in layers with mittens or gloves. Snow pants or warm up pants are good because they are water proof. Helmets are required for the Hockey Tracks classes, and strongly recommended for the beginner classes.
17.
What skating class should I sign my child up for?
Generally, any new skater, 4 yrs. or older, can be in a beginner or hockey tracks 1 class. If they are 3, they can go into a P.A.L.S. class where a parent / guardian skates with them. If your child has had lessons before or has some skating experience, please call the coordinator for an evaluation at 952-895-4657.
